The amount of data that is being produced in the life science domain is still exponentially increasing, fueled by advances in sequencing, imaging and sensoring technology. For efficient analysis of these data and generating impact with the outcome of these analyses, topics such as data science, FAIR data, Open Science and machine learning are becoming increasingly important in all DAS related domains.

In this session Wynand Alkema, Jasper Bosman, Christof Francke are going to summarize and discuss the recent developments in the field of data science. In addition, we will together interactively explore how we can leverage and bring together the existing experience and knowledge at individual UAS and make this available to all DAS research units.
