Professional field
Every year, more than two thousand students graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree from one of the fifteen colleges within the Applied Science domain. These graduates find employment not only in service labs, research institutions, and research departments of companies, but also in industries such as environmental consultancy, engineering firms, and (academic) hospitals.
End qualifications
Every student who has completed a bachelor's degree in the European Union receives the same internationally accepted title. European agreements have been made to enable students to reach a comparable level everywhere. This also includes courses in the Applied Science domain.
Competences
Throughout their studies, students gradually acquire a wide range of competencies. By the end of their studies, all students have developed an analytical, investigative, and solution-oriented mindset. Graduates are capable of working independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team and are aware of the risks to people, animals, and the environment, as well as the ethical implications of research.
