After registering, you must submit a video pitch of no more than two minutes by February 15, 2026.
After the deadline, the expert jury will review all submitted video pitches and select the best entries.
By March 5, 2026, you will be informed whether you are among the nominees and will receive any feedback from the jury on your pitch.
If you are nominated, you are expected to attend the DAS Conference in Utrecht on Thursday, March 19, 2026.
During the morning plenary session, you will present your pitch to the jury and the audience of the DAS Conference. You will also have a conversation with the jury, where they can ask questions and you can elaborate further on your project. The jury will then jointly decide on the winners of the three jury prizes.
During the Award Ceremony, the three jury prize winners will be announced. During the conference, the audience will vote for the winner of the Audience Award.
You are expected to attend the ceremony in person to receive your award if you win.
Evaluation
The jury will assess the video pitches based on six criteria:
1. Understanding of the problem
2. Creativity and originality
3. Use of existing knowledge
4. Use of available technology
5. Presentation
6. Oral explanation
